JOB PURPOSE:
To provide system and process troubleshooting support to Division Purchasing teams while working with the Corporate Purchasing team on special projects, commodity tracking and RebatePro system management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and implement RebatePro quarterly submittals via direct interaction with Divisions Purchasing teams with oversite.
- Assist Division Purchasing Teams in RebatePro management and set up
- Assist on weekly lumber tracking and gather Divisional lumber costing data bi-weekly.
- Assist in the creation of any new pertinent process enhancements/system enhancements as needed.
- Acquire proficiency skills and utilize same in all DRB Group operational systems and reporting tools (New Star, 1440, BuildPro & G3)
- Gather and coordinate bid data for Purchasing VP
- Other duties as apparent or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office software applications, i.e. MS Excel
- Knowledge of Newstar purchasing software is a plus
- Detail orientedand organized
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
- Knowledge of new home construction process is required
Education and Work Experience
- High School Diploma required, college degree preferred OR
- 1-2 years of residential homebuilding or estimating experience OR
- Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
